Psychotherapy is helpful to children and adolescents for a variety of reasons. Therapy allows you to gain emotional support, resolve conflicts with people, understand feelings and problems, and try out new solutions to old problems. The family is a child's world, and as such, when something is wrong with their family something is wrong with their world.
